Sorry I haven't been so active on here lately, but I've been spending more and more time on my tumblr blog to the point where I'm not doing anything else (except maybe twitter-for those of you who have one, I'm @QualiteaHistory.) I've been doing quite a bit of drawing, and I've been improving substantially, but considering I really don't have any way of posting my art (especially since my computer broke down with all my art software on it) I haven't really been able to update this thing. Which is a shame because this is a really good place to display my art haha.
Boy have I improved though. Not to sound narcissistic or anything, but I just went through my gallery (including my scraps) and it was really cringe-worthy. One of these days I'm going to put up one of those "improvement meme" things together just so I can prove to everyone (mostly me) that I have indeed been improving. 
In other news, I'm going back to school on the 22nd, so hopefully I'll be able to access a scanner there, but time will tell for sure.
I've been writing a bit since I've been away as well-if I can get my friend's permission to post a story I was writing about her characters, I might end up sharing it-for once I'm actually very proud of something I've written myself. 
I'm actually thinking of starting up writing commissions-it feels really, really good to be able to write something and be proud of it. If anyone's interested, just message me! I don't check this website as often as I used to anymore, so you'd have a better chance of messaging me on my tumblr. I'm still open for drawing commissions too; I know money is really tight for everyone right now, so I'm willing to go to extreme lows to cater to anyone who can't afford the more expensive commissions. I also do art trades!!

It's been a good two years since I last posted anything here, the last entry being a "sorry for being silent" message before more or less abandoning this website entirely. While I don't see myself coming back here much--if at all--in the near future, I still wanted to post something for old times' sake. I don't really have much to say, since I'm not sure how many of my followers are still active; but just in case some of you are still here, I wanted to thank you for your support. I never really said it much in the past, but I sincerely appreciate every "favorite," every "like," every comment, and every follow. Even though I've more or less abandoned DeviantART, on behalf of my old self I wanted to say thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Sorry I've been so inactive lately!
Recently I've found to be using my tumblr more and more lately, and while I do a decent job of checking my messages here I keep forgetting to actually update my artwork, which is generally the whole point of having a DeviantART account in the first place.
As you've probably seen, commissions are open! The artwork in my gallery on here isn't a very good indicator of the kind of art I'm capable now (which is my fault, since this account is almost a decade old and I never update it anymore), so please check out my art tag for better examples.
In other news, I got a PlayStation 4 as a gift from my parents, I got a massive tattoo on my shoulder
Quick update
I'm pretty much finished settling into my classes-anthropology is a lot more science than I expected, which...should have been expected, to be honest. I don't really know what I was expecting, but I'm happy to say that I'm just as good at genetics as I was in high school (comparatively, I did very, very poorly in chemistry) so I'm fairly pleased. My other classes are going just as well-I'm taking digital media and design 2, so you can probably expect some art-related updates as the semester progresses.
Outside of class, I'm excited to report that I finally got my PS3 connected to the internet, so I've been having fun playing the DLC for Meta
2015-Happy New Year!
I was able to start out the new year with a brand-new Intuos Pro drawing tablet, which is a huge relief--after spending about half a year without one I can finally draw digitally again.
That being said, I'm still broke as all hell because I'm a college student with a job that has very unreliable hours; that is to say, I get hours, but it's very sporadic. I don't have a set schedule at all. So I'm going to try and post more often in the attempt to gain people's attention and hopefully someone will want to commission me for things.

Good to hear from you. I'm not good with blogging so I stay away from Tumblr and Facebook even I use Deviantart to post art there. I'm way more comforable with DA. ^_^
We all the artists feel the similar thing about our older works.
I'm not going to take my old stuff off because I can look at them with a pride that I have improved ever since.
