Celeborn

Full-view to see the detail-please comment!

This is a reference picture I drew for my D&D character, the Luminor elf Celeborn. His original name was Calaeron, but no one (including myself) could consistently pronounce it, so I had to change it for convenience's sake. If you want to know more about him, feel free to message me.

I wound up spending roughly 14 hours on the entire thing--three hours on the shield, half an hour on the signet ring, and about 10 hours on the figure himself. I really like the way it turned out, but I have to say I really hate doing fine detail like that because it takes me that much longer to finish. It was only supposed to be a quick reference drawing.

On a slightly unrelated note, I'm thinking of using this as an example of commission art. I've mentioned before that I can do character drawings, and while I'd have to charge quite a bit for a drawing like this (full figure+full color/heavy detail) I can also do simple sketches or inked drawings with the same amount of detail.
